Interbake Charged with Violating Federal Law
On August 1, 2008, the National Labor Relations Board, Region 5, issued a scathing indictment (Consolidated Complaint) against Interbake/Weston's which charges the Company with blatantly violating Federal U.S. labor law stemming from the on-going organizing drive at Weston's Front Royal, Va. baking facility.
Specifically, the NLRB charged the Company with:

illegally terminating employees;

illegally putting workers under surveillance;

illegally threatening employees with loss of benefits;

illegally disciplining employees; and

illegally interrogating employees.
